Psychological Services

Psychological services are offered for symptoms of distress that interfere with one's ability to function at home, at work, or in the community.

My practice is a predominantly referral-based practice. Those referrals may come from physicians, other health care providers, attorneys, educators and workplace supervisors. Most referrals, however, come from satisfied clients who send their friends, coworkers, and family members.

Psychological Assessment

Involves a comprehensive clinical interview process and may include more formal psychological testing to clarify diagnosis, recommendations, and/or referral for services.

Clinical Case Consultation

Involves a psychological assessment and review of other relevant information to assess the problem and deliver recommendations for treatment, behavioral intervention, or referral for services from the medical, legal, or educational sectors. Clinical case consultation may occur independently of other services.

Psychotherapy

Successful psychotherapy involves the collaboration between client and therapist to achieve the goals established in a treatment plan. Goals typically include the alleviation of clinical symptoms and increased skills to manage existing sources of the upset. Techniques utilized vary according to the clinical problem and the needs of the client.
